Murder by Death stopped by the Historic Rialto Theatre in Tucson, Az. on their dual headlining tour with Tiger Army. With only a single opener, Tim Barry, on the bill, Murder by Death (Adam Turla on guitar/vocals, Sarah Balliet on cello, Matt Armstrong on bass, Dagan Thogerson on drums, and David Fountain on keys/piano/mandolin) was able to play a solid¬†set well over an hour long, with song selections ranging from across nearly all of their albums. The extended set time also enabled Adam to call some “audibles” and change things on the fly, depending on the mood of the crowd. One of the audibles turned out to be a cover of David Bowies “Moonage Daydream”, which the entire audience devoured. Murder by Death are currently on this dual headline tour with Tiger Army until July 6th, playing up the West Coast and into Canada.
