English Metal group Motörhead recently made a stop in Kent, WA at the ShoWare Center as part of Gigantour. This was my first time being able to cover Motörhead as the last few times the band has played Seattle, it never worked out for me due to schedule conflicts. This time I was persistent to make sure that didn’t happen. I can see why Motörhead has such a huge fan base, their live show blew the ShoWare Center to it’s foundation keeping me and the crowd happy. Seattle was lucky to have them play as the band had to cancel the last few dates of Gigantour due to Lemmy suffering severe Laryngitis. The band is currently touring in support of their latest release, The Wörld Is Yours which was released early last year. If you missed out on catching Motörhead, your in luck the band has recently been announced as the surprise headliner for this year’s Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival.
